Australian's Rejoice! Apple Live Voicemail is now available for Aussie users, no workarounds required!

New Features

You can now set up voicemail on your iPhone with Visual Voicemail and Live Voicemail, which shows real-time transcription of your messages. Here’s how:

Open the Phone app on your iPhone.
Tap Voicemail, then select Set Up Now.
Create a voicemail password and choose your greeting (Default or Custom).
To enable Live Voicemail, go to Settings > Phone > Live Voicemail and turn it on.

Now, you can view transcriptions and decide whether to answer calls while they’re leaving a message!

Reminder: If your iPhone is off or out of range, the call is sent to carrier voicemail. Enabling live voicemail in Australia

1. Set your language to English (US) in Settings > General > Language and Region.

4. Record a new greeting (or leave as default) by navigating to the Phone app, selecting Voicemail, and choosing the Greeting option.
